摘 要：

In Section 3 of T.A.Springer's paper, Trigonometric Sums, Green Functions on Finite Groups and Representation of Weyl Groups (1976), a method is proposed to reduce the computation of the trigonometric sum S^G (A,A^' ) to the case where A is nilpotent. Although the resulting formula is essentially correct, the proof contains several inaccuracies. The main purpose of this article is to follow the spirit of Springer's original argument while providing a revised proof that establishes the same result.
