We will go through chapter 6 of Peter Li's GA book. We will present a proof for the sharp gradient estimate for positive eigenfunctions. As an application, we also prove a sharp upper estimate of $L^2$-spectrum of the Laplacian and a Liouville Theorem for harmonic functions on a complete manifold with nonnegative Ricci curvature.
