演講題目：Developing Statistical Software at SAS

內容摘要：
Privately held SAS Institute Inc. is one of the largest independent software companies in the world. Since its incorporation in 1976, the SAS System, a software suite for advanced analytics, data management, and predictive analytics, has been widely adopted by users and organizations around the world. The SAS/STAT software, a comprehensive set of tools designed for both specialized and enterprise-wide analytical needs, is one of the backbones of SAS Advanced Analytics.  Fang Chen has worked in SAS Institute Inc. for over 10 years as a senior software developer in the SAS/STAT group, with specialty in the Bayesian computation area. This talk begins with an inside perspective on the development of SAS Statistical software, including a personal look at his work life and software development career in SAS. The presentation then takes a behind-the-scenes look at recent development at SAS in response to increasingly complex customer data and new directions, not only in the field of statistics but also in high performance computing areas.

學經歷及簡介：
陳方 博士 於2004年獲得卡內基美隆大學(Carnegie Mellon University)統計博士學位，至美國賽仕電腦軟體公司任職研究設計師迄今，專長主要在統計軟體發展及貝氏統計分析，目前為賽仕電腦軟體公司進階分析部貝氏統計模型處的資深經理，  自2008年迄今， 持續受邀在SAS Global Forum， 聯合統計會議(joint statistical meeting)擔任專題訓練課程講師。
