- 一開始使用這本書當教科書，是因其他老師的推荐而使用，後來我自己使用上也覺得很好，因此目前這門課都使用該書為教科書。課文內容與習題豐富清楚，能符合課程需要，沒有太大的問題。修課的學生照著課本順序念，做我勾選的習題，就能大致理解數理統計之內涵。[吳貴美老師]
- This is an elementary book, presupposing only elementary calculus (matrix theory is covered briefly in an appendix). The flavor is down-to-earth and very computational but a great variety of topics is covered (e.g., hypothesis testing, linear models, least squares estimation, design of experiments, analysis of variance, nonparametric statistics) so that the book will be useful to various groups of users.
