This is a textbook for an introductory course in differential equations with many examples, exercises and applications. Material in the first five chapters on methods and elements of the theory is presented especially well. Chapter 4 treats solutions by power series. Chapters 6 to 11 give introductions to The Laplace transform, Systems of first order equations, Numerical methods, Linear second order boundary value problems, Fourier series, and Linear second order partial differential equations.
