Research Interest
Chen is interested in providing fundamental insights to sophisticated statistical models. These include efficient semi-parametric modeling and locating maximizer of a nonlinear function. 
Recently, Chen is particularly interested in missing covariate problem and continuous time Markov chain with application of cancer modeling.
