Brief Introduction of Dr. Hsia:
Dr. Hsia was born  in a small countryside in Hsin-Chu county, Taiwan. He received his education in Taipei county before he entered  The Affiliated Senior High School Of National Taiwan Normal University (師大附中). He got his bachelor's degree  in 1997 in Department of Mathematics at National Taiwan University (台大數學系) . After another two years, he obtained his master's degree under the direction of Professor Chiun-Chuan Chen in the same department (台大數研所). When he finished the mandatory military service in 2001, he went to Indiana University to earn his Ph. D. in Department of Mathematics at Indiana University under the direction of Professor Shouhong Wang. Dr. Hsia was a visiting/research assistant professor in The University of Illinois at Chicago from 2006 to 2008. During his stay in UIC, Dr. Hsia was doing research under the direction of Professor Jerry L. Bona. Dr. Hsia is a Golden Jade Fellow of Kenda Foundation. He received this honor in 2008.
