       Social Activities:           

A social dinner on Thursday(3/25) evening. We will cover part of the cost but we will ask for a contribution in the region of NTD 500 (about USD 15).

A 1-day trip to Hwalien and the Taroko gorge national park. We plan to fly to Hwalien on Wednesday(3/24) morning and come back Wednesday evening. We ask a contribution of NTD 3,500. For people who join this trip, we need to buy airplane tickets and travel insurance. Therefore please send us your:
(Foreigners) Passport Nationality, Passport No. and Date of Birth.

(Taiwanese) ID no. and Date of Birth. (also let us know if you are a student).

Accommodation: The  accommodation is Howard International House Taipei. Please let us know how many family members will come with you, and your arrival/departure schedule at your earliest convenience. The hotel is within walking distance to the department of Mathematics.

Airport pickup: We will arrange taxis/limousines between Taipei CKS international  airport (TPE)  and  the hotels for invited speakers. The driver will greet you in the arrival section. If you can't find the driver, please go to the TAXI/RENTAL CAR counter and wait there. He will try to search you. If somehow you've been waiting for a long time, say more than 15 min., please call for help.
