Transportation

From Airport to Taipei Downtown
We will arrange pick-up service for our invited speakers. For our participants from abroad, here's how you can get from the airport to the city: If you arrive at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, there are several kinds of transportation to get to the Taipei downtown, it is recommended to take the bus or the taxi. Please click here for more information. For those who arrive at the Taipei Songshan Airport which is within the city and close to NTU, taking the metro or the taxi are both nice choices, NTU is right next to the Gongguan metro station. Please refer to this link for information regarding Songshan Airport.

The City
It's not easy to get lost in Taipei with its convenient public transportation, the Taipei Metro (MRT) is one of the most efficient ways to get around the city, for those spots that aren't covered by the metro service, bus or taxi that ply across the city will take you there. The signage in most of the places is bilingual, thus it's totally fine if you don't speak Mandarin, the signage and the friendly people will show you how to find your destination.
