Biography

Born 1962. B.S., 1985, National Taiwan University. Ph. D., 1992, Stanford University. Member, 1992-3, IAS; associate professor, 1993-1999, National Taiwan University, professor, 1999-present, National Taiwan University.

Research Interests

The interplay between Symplectic geometry and Riemannian geometry, which include the existence and properties of special Lagrangians, Lagrangian and minimal submanifolds, and Hamiltonian stationary Lagrangians.
Mean curvature flow, Lagrangian mean curvature, and their weak solutions.

Minimal submanifolds and harmonic maps.

Geometry problems related to general relatives.
