Biography

Born 1950. B.S., 1973, National Taiwan Normal Univ.; M.S., 1977, National Taiwan Normal Univ.; Ph.D., 1980, offered by Ministry of Education (under a Ph.D. program of National Taiwan Univ.); Ph.D., 1991, Kyoto Univ. Join the faculty of National Taiwan Univ. since 1983. Long stay (over 3 months) at the following institutes: Courant Institute (1981-1982), Louisiana State Univ. (1986-1987), Kyoto Univ. (1990), Keio Univ. (1993).
