Mathematical Statistics Group: The total number of credits should be at least 15.

Qualifying Examination  Typically Qualifying Examination: (within two years.)
1. Real analysis (Required) 2. One subject selected from the followings: (1) Partial Differential Equations (2) Algebra (3) Geometry and Topological (4) Probability theory (5) Discrete mathematics (6) Numerical method (7) Statistics Professional Qualifying Examination: (within three years.) Professional qualifying examination should be applied before one month. The 3~5 oral committee members are organied by the advisor.
