介紹：辦家家酒，也有辦家家酒的遊戲規則，modeling introduces procedure to find a model for a pre-determined phenomenon on a given population,模式建立時，提供了模式可用的限制性。 過程：For an interested phenomenon on a given population, qualitative investigation takes the initiation for modeling, 看到現象之演變過程後的具體化、資訊彙集、find relationship among the variables for the information、印證法則(testing criterion)取捨、rejection of the hypothesis on the relationship to be accepted based on the criterion, unitl 結論不被拒絕(no rejection occurring)、矛盾存在後再改進。 內容(Topics)：All begin from qualitative investigation 第一部分 經驗（時間dependent）資料分析 [empirical (time dependent) data analysis] 第二部分 現象機轉的模式化 [modeling for empirical mechanism] 第三部分 模型建構的基本法則 [modeling] 第四部分 模型取捨準則 [model choice criteria] 第五部分 數值分析在建構中的角色與矩陣運用 第六部分 統計的推演 第七部分 電腦軟體，是運用或是開發 第八部分 微分方程的逆行作業 (inverse operation) 之模式決定， 微分方程的一般作業之矛盾尋求 總之，經驗數據與假設模式，運用採取的印證法則來決定不被拒絕的最簡單之模式曲線，再對現象的機轉來找出此曲線的破綻，就是說矛盾的存在性，以決 定曲線不必詮釋而需要改進。
