Course description: As the technology is moving toward ninoworld, the quantum mechanics becomes more and more important. Professor Yau is a full professor of the Courant Institute, New York University, a famous center of applied mathematics and P. D. E. in the world. He has international reputation on mathematical theory of quantum mechanics and many others. He will visit us for one semester and will offer this introductory courses. The content of this course includes: Wigner distribution, semiclassical limit, Hartree equation, Boltzman equation and quantum dynamics in random media. Prerequisite: Partial differential equations
